When it’s this close to Halloween, and the full on lush of fall has spread into the city, there is an air of change that is as exciting as it is scary. Teaming up with self proclaimed witchy woman, photographer, Katie Essick in St. Paul’s Cathedral Hill neighborhood we captured some magic one bright autumn morning. It was a stunning outcome as Madeleine stomped around in the crisp air with hints of warmth from the fleeting sun. Too cool for winter, too hot for summer. Only fall can feel this way.

We can not get over the beautiful series captured by MPLS photographer Aminda Villa. Set in a historic Minneapolis apartment complex adorned with vibrant vintage furniture. Everything about the photos exudes sultriness and sensuality. You can see the full set of images here.
Maybe it’s the unseasonably warmer temperatures of late that have got me feeling all warm and fuzzy. Late January can be a brutal time of year, draped in darkness and dreariness, but what is speaking to me is sweet and light, ladylike and bright. Here’s a little pinspiration for your mid-week fluff.
Yet another use for the teensiest little feathers, Jen’s recent collaboration with photographer Aminda Villa produced some amazing pictures. Inspired by runway looks and the work of Jen’s ultimate role model Pat McGrath, the introduction of feathers brought this avant garde make up look to a whole new level. L’avenir’s fun and feathery yellow statement earrings made their way into model Isabel’s turquoise hairstyle.
Pretty things deserve pretty wrappings.
Jen has been expanding her make up horizons. This has been a win-win situation in that even though these pictures are all about the make up, L’avenir sneaks it’s way into saucy photo shoots as props. Check out model Hannah as she rocks out some of our latest jewels with a heavy dose sex appeal.
